Having personally grappled with the challenges of being a high school student while juggling a demanding academic workload and extracurricular commitments, I possess firsthand insight into the pressures students face today in their pursuit of academic excellence and success.
Therefore, it is my passion and mission to use my skills of innate empathy, compassion, and problem solving to empower students to meet their greatest potential.
Education
Equipped with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Minor in Leadership, I am currently advancing my education by pursuing a Master's degree in Social Work at the University of South Florida.
Embarking on my undergraduate journey during the pandemic, I accomplished my bachelor's degree predominantly through online learning, achieving Magna Cum Laude honors in just three years.
Non-Profit
As the founder of my own 501c3 organization committed to promoting youth resilience within HCPS, I have taken on the role of mentoring numerous students, supporting multiple mental health-focused clubs, and consistently expanding my network throughout the Tampa Bay area.
I am also a member of the Hillsborough County Mental Health Advisory Council.
Certification
I am a certified professional life coach, receiving certificates from the University of Central Florida.
This certification taught the Core Competencies of the International Coach Federations (ICF). The ICF is the leading organization dedicated to advancing the coaching profession through high standards, independent certification, and a worldwide network of trained coaching professionals.
Experience
As Miss Tampa 2022 I had the priceless opportunity to deliver a keynote speech at the Gracepoint Foundation's "Stronger Than Stigma" event.
This experience highlighted my capacity to build connections, inspire, and motivate others by sharing my vulnerability and personal experiences. Following this event I was positive in my pursuit of a career helping others through empowerment.
